Ensinger PolyTech Inc., a subsidiary of injection molder Ensinger Precision Components Inc., announced today that it has purchased the assets of Poly-Tech Industrial Inc. Located in Huntersville, NC, Poly-Tech provides CNC milling and turning services complemented by deep electrical, mechanical, and plastics engineering expertise.

The acquisition includes the purchase of Poly-Tech's Huntersville facility and, most importantly, the talents and invaluable experience of its entire team, said Ensinger.

Ensinger's John Tremblay will lead the new entity as Vice President and General Manager. "We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with Poly-Tech's team in expanding Ensinger's offerings for our customers," said Tremblay. "The addition of Poly-Tech's engineering and manufacturing capabilities in high-performance materials truly complement Ensinger Precision Component's value proposition of providing our customers pellet-to-part solutions."

Dan Cedrone, who founded Poly-Tech in 2001, will join Ensinger as Director – Technical Sales and Application Development.

Ensinger Precision Components specializes in injection molding high-performance thermoplastic parts and near-net shapes, as well as PEEK tubes and the Plastock line of mechanical drive components. Combining this expertise with Poly-Tech Industrial's innovative design and manufacturing capabilities will enable users to seamlessly take their application ideas from infancy to commercial maturity, said Ensinger.

The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
