Brown just liberal rubber stamp

DEAR EDITOR:

Next year, Senator Sherrod Brown is up for re-election. He's held the office since defeating now-Governor Mike DeWine in 2006. It's shocking that Brown has held his office this long. The senator presents himself as a pro-worker, pro-family guy. In reality, he's just a rubber stamp for Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer. Want the proof? Look no further than his voting record.

ProRepublican reports that Sherrod Brown and Charles "Chuck" Schumer vote together 95 percent of the time. He voted with Bernie Sanders 91 percent of the time. In the 117th Congress (2021-2022), Sanders and Brown agreed 95 percent of the time. The bad policies of these far-left politicans has a real effect on Ohioans.

Do you remember the so-called Inflation Reducation Act? Yes, the one that actually increased spending by $260 billion over a 10-year period. Joe Biden and Sherrod Brown claim it's paid for, and technically, they’re right. But how do Democrats typically pay for things? The answer is more taxation. The legislation actually increases taxes by $326 billion.

Sen. Brown rarely votes with Ohio workers. His only appeal for re-election is his vote for the USMCA, which passed 89-10. He’ll use this line on union workers and individuals who lost jobs because of the decline in industry, especially in Northeast Ohio.

My conclusion is simple. Why should Ohio voters re-elect the guy who rarely votes in our best interest? His USMCA vote was one of the few that looked out for you. Let's elect somebody who votes for Ohioans 100 percent of the time. With Ohio Democrats sure to advance Brown from the primary, it means the GOP is the only choice to move Ohio forward.

I strongly encourage Ohio voters to send Sherrod Brown packing. Perhaps he could work with Tim Ryan and lobby for things he opposed in Congress.
